It essentially uses a macro that mimics the recoil pattern of any gun removing the users need to do so. On Apex the current most common way it's used is to control recoil. You have to press the paddles in the exact same way you'd press any other button.Ī mod pack, generally just referred to as a strike pack, is different. Paddles simply allow for the re-mapping of a button to paddles on the back of the controller. There's the more innocent and, imo, fine reason people buy a pack for their controller and that is to add paddles.
